We are all aware that the world as we know it could end, due to pollution, famine, global warming, war, or some other terror. Jesus promised that he would return at such a time as this and He warned us all to be ready. He said that all who would be part of His kingdom would need to be born again of water and the Spirit.

He told His followers to preach the good news of his coming. He said He would give those who believe and were baptised proof that He was with them. One sign was that they would speak in a new miraculous prayer language (tongues). The believers would also pray for the sick and they would be healed. These things are still happening today because Jesus is still alive.

Later, just after He left, the people in the first church received the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues, and when this happened the apostle Peter said that if you want to be saved from this troubled generation then you must repent, be baptised and be filled with the Holy Spirit, which has been promised to all who would be called of God.

Everyone in the early church spoke in tongues including the Ephesians and the Apostle Paul. Nearly 2,000 years later we all still need to change our ways, be baptised by full immersion and receive the Holy Spirit, a real experience with God.

We ask you to consider the listed Scriptures and ask God to show you what is right.
